Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Reliantrade, we are committed to providing reliable and efficient shipping solutions for our global clientele. Whether you are ordering a single electronic device or a fleet of construction vehicles, we ensure your goods are handled with the utmost care from our Guangzhou warehouse to your destination.
1. Order Processing Time
• Retail & Small Orders: Most in-stock items (electronics, household appliances) are processed and dispatched within 5-7 business days.
• Wholesale & Bulk Orders: Large-scale orders requiring specialized packing or palletizing may take 14-20 business days for processing.
• Specialized Machinery/Vehicles: For heavy equipment and vehicles, processing times vary based on inspection, documentation, and carrier scheduling. Your account manager will provide a specific timeline.
2. Shipping Methods & Carriers
We offer a variety of shipping methods to suit your budget and urgency:
• Express Shipping (Air): Best for small electronics and urgent medical parts (DHL, FedEx, UPS). Estimated delivery: 5–10 business days.
• Sea Freight (LCL/FCL): Recommended for furniture, construction materials, and bulk wholesale orders. Estimated delivery: 20–45 days depending on the destination port.
• Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) & Flat Rack: Specialized shipping for vehicles and heavy construction machinery.
• Land Freight: Available for cross-border shipments to neighboring regions.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight, dimensions (volumetric weight), destination, and chosen shipping method.
• Retail: Shipping will be calculated at checkout.
• Wholesale/Heavy Cargo: Shipping is quoted manually to provide you with the most competitive current market rates.
4. International Trade Terms (Incoterms)
To ensure clarity in global logistics, Reliantrade primarily operates under the following standardized Incoterms. Unless otherwise specified in your Proforma Invoice (PI), the following rules apply:
• EXW (Ex Works – Guangzhou Warehouse):
The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements, costs, and risks from our warehouse door. This is ideal if you have your own freight forwarder in China.
◦ Reliantrade Responsibility: Making the goods available at our Dongpu warehouse.
◦ Buyer Responsibility: All transport, export clearance, and insurance.
• FOB (Free On Board – Designated Port, e.g., Guangzhou/Shenzhen):
Common for sea freight and bulk wholesale.
◦ Reliantrade Responsibility: We cover all costs and risks to get the goods loaded onto the vessel at the departure port, including China export customs.
◦ Buyer Responsibility: Ocean freight, insurance, and all costs from the moment the goods are on the ship.
• CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight – Your Destination Port):
Often used for furniture, medical equipment, and construction vehicles.
◦ Reliantrade Responsibility: We arrange and pay for the transport and basic insurance to your named destination port.
◦ Buyer Responsibility: Import customs clearance, duties, taxes, and transport from the destination port to your final warehouse.
• DAP (Delivered At Place):
Common for retail or smaller air-freight electronics orders.
◦ Reliantrade Responsibility: We deliver the goods directly to your specified address.
◦ Buyer Responsibility: Import duties, taxes, and unloading.
5. International Shipping & Customs
Reliantrade ships worldwide from our facilities in China.
• Import Duties & Taxes: Please note that customers are responsible for all import duties, VAT, and local customs fees in their respective countries.
• Documentation: We provide all standard export documentation (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB). If your country requires specific certificates (e.g., CE, Certificate of Origin), please notify us during the ordering process.
6. Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number or shipping documents. For sea freight, we provide regular updates on vessel status and estimated arrival dates.
7. Delivery Address & Warehouse Pickup
• Accuracy: Ensure your shipping address is correct. We are not responsible for delays or losses due to incorrect address information provided by the buyer.
• Self-Collection: Local clients or those with their own freight forwarders may arrange for pickup from our Guangzhou (Dongpu) warehouse by appointment only.
8. Inspection Upon Delivery
For all shipments, especially furniture, medical equipment, and vehicles:
• You must inspect the exterior of the crates/packaging for damage before signing the delivery receipt.
• If visible damage is present, please note it on the carrier’s paperwork and take clear photographs immediately to support any potential insurance claims.
9. Shipping Delays
While we strive for punctuality, Reliantrade is not liable for delays caused by customs clearance, port congestion, extreme weather, delays due to political strifes or carrier-related issues.
